  • The Hot Springs Spas T20 Black Clash in association with Wolfbrook delivered everything it promised, from sunshine and star power to a stadium buzzing with colour, noise and excitement.

As Associate Naming Rights Sponsor, Wolfbrook was proud to once again be part of one of summer’s most anticipated sporting events, a fixture on the calendar that continues to bring communities together through sport, entertainment and shared experience.

From the moment the gates opened at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, the atmosphere was unmistakable. Families and friends filled the stands, and Wolfbrook bucket hats quickly became the unofficial uniform of the day, with fans grabbing them as they made their way through the gates.

At the heart of Wolfbrook’s presence was a strong focus on creating moments for fans to enjoy. Throughout the day, our on-site activations kept the energy high, from mini cricket bats for player signing sessions and interactive photowalls, to poster-making stations that gave younger fans a chance to get creative and show their team pride.

One of the standout moments came during the half-time innings break, when the Wolfbrook $10K Tug of War took centre stage. With the crowd fully engaged and the noise levels climbing, the activation delivered pure Black Clash energy, fun, competitive and completely unforgettable.

Adding to the moment was our Ambassador Kieran Read, who played a dual role on the day as both Team Rugby captain and the face of the Wolfbrook $10K Tug of War. His involvement brought the activation to life, perfectly capturing the spirit of the event and reinforcing Wolfbrook’s commitment to being hands-on, visible and part of the action.

While the cricket provided plenty of drama, with Team Cricket claiming another win in a thrilling finish that came down to the final ball, the true highlight was the atmosphere itself. From families on the grass banks to fans cheering from the stands, the T20 Black Clash once again proved why it is one of summer’s most loved sporting events.

Wolfbrook CEO Guy Randall said the T20 Black Clash continues to be a favourite on the company’s calendar.

“The T20 Black Clash is everything we love about summer, great sport, great people and an incredible community vibe,” Guy said. “We’re proud to be out there with fans, creating moments that bring people together and leave lasting memories.”

As the sun set on another unforgettable T20 Black Clash, the event marked the perfect way to hit the ground running for the year ahead, setting the tone for a big summer and an even bigger year ahead at Wolfbrook.
